I'm going to be honest with you, I wake up at 7:10am every day when school starts at 7:45am. That leaves me with 35 minutes to brush my teeth, do my makeup, fix my hair, put on clothes, eat, and drive to school. You would think that I would learn and wake up earlier so I wouldn't be rushed, but this has been going on for 3+ years already. Sigh.... bad habits bad habits. Those extra 30 minutes of sleep are very important to me. That is 30 more minutes of happiness which is wayyyyy more important than looking presentable. That's a valid excuse right?
If I really have to, I can do my whole face in 5 minutes. I do my makeup in order of importance because if I am REALLY running out of time, I can at least look presentable by using the most important products.
In this post, I list the general product (such as concealer, eyeliner, etc.) and then the name of the product I have been loving currently. In order of importance, here is how I do it:
~
1. Concealer- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
I put two dabs of this under my eyes to hide the fact that I only had 3 hours of sleep and one dab around the sides of my mouth. I blend it out by tapping the concealer in with my ring finger and to make sure it is really blended out, I go over it again with a brush. (I like to use either the Real Technique's pointed foundation brush or the expert face brush)

2. Eyebrows- The FaceShop Face It Designing Cake Eyebrow in Khaki Gray
Eyebrows make a HUGE difference so I make sure I have my eyebrows on every. single. day. No one wants to be eyebrow-less. I use this eyebrow powder with an excessively long name to just quickly fill them in. I take an angled brush and fill in the front of my brows with the lighter shade on the left. Then I fill in the end of my brows with the darker shade on the right. Moving along!

3. Inner Corner Highlight- Hello Kitty Happy Cloud (from Charmmy Kohl Eyeliner Kit)
To brighten my eyes I take this eyeliner and put it on my inner corners. This makes the eyes look more awake, larger, and cuter. You can use any champagne or shimmery light color to do this whether it be an eyeliner or an eyeshadow (BTW Stila's Kitten looks gorgeous on the inner corners). I just love how this particular eyeliner looks on and how it is super quick.

I do steps 1-3 every. single. day. This honestly takes 2 to 3 minutes max. The next few steps are for when I have some extra time in the mornings. Here we go!

4. Mascara- Tony Moly Cats Wink 3GO Mascara
Although mascara seems to be the #1 must-have for most people, it really isn't for me because I have short, stubby lashes that point straight down. The amount of time I waste with curling my lashes and then applying coats of mascara really isn't worth the minimal difference it makes on my lashes (if I don't have time of course). This Tony Moly mascara is a very natural looking mascara. People who are looking for lots of volume and length will definitely dislike this product. But I like it because it gives a little bit of definition without looking like I have piles of mascara on.

5. Eyeliner- Wet n' Wild Comfort Zone palette (left definer shade)
Doing eyeliner with eyeshadow and an angled liner brush is the quickest way to do it. The shade I like to use is from the Comfort Zone palette and the pigment is INSANE. This is definitely the most pigmented shadow I own. It is the only shadow where I can get a line that looks sharp but also soft at the same time. Other shadows seems to just give me a smudgy look which is nice but I much prefer this the line I get with this shadow.

6. Eyeshadow- Mac Ricepaper
When I say I do my eyeshadow while running late, I'm not talking about looks with 5 shadows and a defined crease or anything like that. I'm talking about taking a blending brush, swishing it into a neutral shadow like Mac's Ricepaper, and popping it onto my lid. Sometimes I'll add a matte brown shade (like Taupe from the Lorac Pro Palette) into the crease with the same brush and that's it.

7. Powder- Mac Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium
I don't have oily skin but it can get just a little bit shiny throughout the day. This powder gives the tiniest bit of coverage which is always a plus. I like to use this with Real Technique's blush brush and sweep it LIGHTLY all over my face. I use my fingers to dab it right over my concealer to set that as well.
~
8. Blush- Canmake Powder Cheeks in PW22
I don't use blush that often because I don't see much of a difference. But it I have time, I like to pop this on the apples of my cheeks and drag it back near the tops of my ears to give a flushed look. This shade is a barbie pink but looks natural on the cheeks.

Left to right: Hello Kitty Eyeliner | Mac Ricepaper | Wet 'n Wild shadow (swatch with liner brush vs. with finger) |
I know it seems like a lot when it is all written out but I can do steps 1-8 in 12 minutes max. Yes, I have timed myself to see how fast it would take me. I do switch up products every now and then but the look I end up looks fairly the same. I may switch up my eyeshadow or blush depending on my mood that day but the overall routine stays relatively the same. After I'm done with all of this, I shove my breakfast in my mouth and off to school I go!
