Hey guys! I have a review of the new Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks because I recently picked them up at CVS.  Yay for buy one get one 50% off sales! 

Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks

I can't seem to find these lipsticks on the Maybelline site but I have seen it around in plenty of drugstores. They come in this dark lilac-y purple packaging with a soft matte finish.

I only allowed myself to get two shades because the amount of lipsticks I own is ridiculous.  Let me tell you, it was a struggle because all the shades were GORGEOUS.  Mesmerizing Magenta is a bright pink with a hint of berry AKA my type of color.  Daringly Nude is a browny nude with enough pink in it so that it doesn't make me look pallid when I put it on.

The formula of these lipsticks was not my favorite but they were still okay.  Since it is a matte lipstick, chapped lipsticks are a no-no.  These will definitely accentuate dry patches so make sure to exfoliate! This part doesn't bother me that much but the smell!.. OH THE SMELL.  It smells like half plastic, half wanna-be baked goods.  But the colors are so pretty I am able to bypass the stench. Fortunately it doesn't linger:)

These lipsticks are not 100% matte and seem to fit the description of "creamy matte."  There is a little bit of sheen on them but they are definitely not glossy at all.  It has great pigmentation and the colors... JUST LOOK AT THOSE COLORS!
