REVIEW | The Face Shop Faceit Care Pen Eyeliner

Hellooooooo! I picked up this eyeliner in number 1 Real Black a while ago but never got around to using it because I buy too much makeup. This liner is from a Korean brand called The Face Shop.

The packaging is slim and sleek and is no bigger than a pencil which is nice because you have more room to store more makeup! HOWEVER the cap on this is not sturdy at all.  It doesn't click when you close it and dries out the product quicker than it probably would have with a better cap.

It is a felt tip liner that comes to a pretty precise point which allows you to do the perfect wing. It isn't like the Dolly Wink eyeliner which has a brush tip.  Comparing the two, the Dolly Wink liner is definitely thinner and shorter.  But it is really up to the user's preference as to which tip they like the most. I personally like Dolly Wink's shorter brush tip a little bit more but both are great.

The pigmentation is alright.  It's not the blackest eyeliner I've ever tried but it is definitely not bad. The liner gives off a nice sheen and is build-able to achieve a very black line.

It is a non waterproof eyeliner so the lasting power is not the best.  It lasts a decent amount of time but not anything out of the ordinary. The liner does not transfer onto the lid and does not crease.

TL;DR
Pros
  • Tip is fine
  • Slim and sleek packaging
  • Easy-to-use
  • Good pigmentation
Cons
  • Doesn't have great lasting power
  • Not waterproof
  • Cap doesn't close tightly
Overall, it's alright.  Not the best but also not the worst.
